Improving the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex has a direct impact on the quality of life of the population of the region, is a condition of investment attractiveness and social stability. Increasing the competitiveness of Russian enterprises will expand the export potential of the agricultural industry.
In the process of work, the economic essence and content of the category “the formation of a strategy to improve the competitiveness of an enterprise” were studied; the features of the dairy cattle industry; economic evaluation of the dairy market of the Krasnoyarsk Territory; The analysis of the competitiveness of enterprises engaged in dairy cattle breeding in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was conducted. Orientation to market demand assumes, on the one hand, the production of the range of dairy products that customers are interested in; on the other hand, the range that an enterprise can produce and sell with profit. The main research results are the development and implementation of recommendations for improving the competitiveness of enterprises engaged in dairy cattle breeding.
